MDCS: Multimodal Delivery and Control System


The  Multimodal Delivery and Control System (MDCS) is a component within the SPICE Service Platform that decides how to deliver a particular interactive multimedia service to a particular user, using the available resources in that user's Distributed Communication Sphere and enforces these decision through non-monolithic rendering , multimodal interaction and session mobility. The MDCS provides a single point of access for services wanting  to deliver their user interface in a multimodal fashion.

SPATEL utilities


SPATEL is a domain-specific language, defined in the context of SPICE. It consists in a UML-based graphical formalism, exploiting state-machines for expressing arbitrary complex composition of Telecom services.
