| Rationale | On the one hand, a SPICE-wide data storage for user data (and preferences) is needed, so that user data can be shared among different SPICE services, and so that a user does not have to define general user data such as name, date of birth and address for each single SPICE service.On the other hand, SPICE services want to adapt to the user's situation-dependent behaviour. The profile management enabler can support the SPICE services in the personalisation process in selecting and providing the matching user data (preferences) for the specific user situation. |
